Who are the Little Women?
The Little Women are Emma Carbone and Nicole Pelliccia. We became “The Little Women” after meeting in graduate school and deciding to become creative writing critique partners.
When not writing creatively, Emma also blogs as Miss Print.
Nicole also blogs when not writing creatively at The Book Bandit’s Blog.
What are the Little Women Stories?
It all started at BEA in 2012 when Nicole and Emma got advanced copies of The Curiosities by Maggie Stiefvater, Tessa Gratton and Brenna Yovanoff. Their collection of short stories started as a website where the women posted short stories, scenes, or flash fiction based on different prompts every week.
Inspired by the book, Nicole suggested that she and Emma could start a similar project. After reading the collection herself, Emma was completely on board.
Since Nicole and Emma were already The Little Women, it only made sense that a blog of their stories would be Little Women Stories.
